- Can I edit a code after I have downloaded it?
- Only if it is a dynamic code. A static code carries its destination inside the image, so changing where it points means generating a new code and reprinting it. A dynamic code points at a short link, so you can change its destination from your dashboard at any time and the printed code stays the same.
- What happens if I lose the file?
- If you saved the code to your account, open your dashboard and download it again as PNG, SVG or PDF — the design and destination are stored with it. If it was an unsaved static code, enter the same content and design settings here and the generator produces an identical image.
- Why does my logo make the code look busier?
- Adding a logo covers part of the code, so we raise the error correction level automatically to compensate. Higher error correction packs in more modules, which makes the pattern denser but keeps the code scannable with the logo in place.
- Can I add a logo and my own colours?
- Yes, on the free tier. You can set the foreground and background colour, choose a module shape and upload a logo. When you add a logo we raise the code's error correction automatically so it still scans reliably.
- What image formats can I download?
- PNG and SVG are free for every code. SVG is plain vector artwork, so it stays sharp at any print size. PDF export and print frames with a caption are part of Pro.
